Albany City Mayoral Candidate Forum
Wednesday, July 24th at 7pm
RSVP on Facebook
Rockefeller Institute of Government
411 State Street, Albany NY
This past election cycle, it seemed every politician wanted to be seen as the “pro-woman” candidate. So what does it mean to be a “pro-woman” candidate? The purpose of these forums, the second of two, is to provide information about where the candidates stand on issues impacting women and families, so you can decide which candidate will best represent you.
These forums were created to address questions specifically focused on issues of interest to marginalized women and gender queer and non-conforming individuals who are often disregarded. The format will include a short set of pre-determined questions followed by a question and answer period where candidates will respond to questions from the floor.
For more on the mayoral candidates visit:
Marlon Anderson (D-Independent), Jesse Calhoun (I), Corey Ellis (D), Alexander Portelli (L), and Kathy Sheehan (D).
